The next day was a bit of a drag. All we did was drive south/southwest all day on I-25. Our destination was Laramie, to see a huge monument of Abraham Lincoln’s head. Mac said it would be a full day of driving until we got there, but once we did, it was a straight shot east to Cheyenne and his sister. Keep going...

It was a long haul to Hell’s Half Acre, but it was certainly well worth the journey. What we saw looked exactly like Emyn Muil, the path that Frodo, Samwise and Gollum took to reach Mordor’s Mountain in The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. (I know I’m a nerd… but sometimes I have the tendency to be my father’s daughter.) Keep going...

So tell me what you want, what you really really want,
I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna really
Really really wanna zig-a-zig ah. Keep going...

I’m pretty sure it’s only in certain areas, but he has been speeding everywhere. We got to Billings from Bozeman in just over an hour and a half (Google Maps said it would take two hours and 14 minutes). Keep going...

Driving and driving. And looking and looking. I feel like I’m dying in this RV. Glenda has been teaching us stuff (or trying to). “American History? How could I learn any more than I could on this trip?” I demanded. Keep going...

The last thing I remember before falling asleep last night was Mom pleading with George. “Come on, honey, come to bed.” He just kept staring out the window toward the “Death Star” parked right next to us. Keep going...

I woke up to the sound of George and Mom arguing about whether or not to wake me up. “Just let her sleep,” I heard George say. Keep going...
