This Thanksgiving Day was our most adventurous yet. We began by taking a trip to Lutsen Mountains to go skiing on one of their four mountains. The ski lodge and park, bordering Lake Superior, is about four hours north of Minneapolis. Minneapolis, Minnesota, aka the “City of Lakes” was not what I expected. I envisioned vast amounts of nothingness, the persistent scent of cow dung, expansive cornfields, and people who live off the land; my standard assumption regarding essentially all of the Midwest. Minneapolis is actually a city, with buildings and a skyline and a sizeable population. Keep going...
