Hello, faithful readers, if there are any of you still remaining. Sorry I’ve been MIA for the past few weeks, but things got kinda crazy for the Rehnquist clan as of late. You see, George came down with a nasty case of food poisoning and we ended up staying in Indiana much longer than we anticipated. He was sick for about 10 days and even spent two nights in a hospital in Fort Wayne. Keep going...

We got up early in the morning so we could say our goodbyes and get driving. The two children didn’t bother to wake up, so I guess the manners thing went out the window as well for Hoosiers. I didn’t say a word when leaving except for a very light “thank you.” I tried to give them the indication that I wanted to leave quickly by walking away slightly after every word he said, but he picked up on nothing.
